A one stop shop (or street corner, lamp post) where clubs can post happenings on a central calendar, exchange info, sample videos, ideas, links. Maintenance to be minimised, format kept simple. The idea being that the club sites themselves are directly linked and all their manifold peculiarities preserved. A trial calendar has been started tenuously linked to Youtube (both named UkeOz) where, it is hoped, "social/friendly/quirky" sample videos of the clubs could be shown. (have 2 up from BUK already)
Any thoughts, suggestions, advocating devil whispers would be appreciated .
The calendar also allows clubs without a web site to post up info, new clubs being formed could also reach far more people.

ReplyDeleteAs you (more than most) realize, starting something is one thing, maintaining it is another.
These sites will, hopefully, be able to look after themselves and I can just "nudge" occasionally. (that's the Plan !)
Were you able to visit the Calendar and Video site ? I'm trying to improve linking, until I find an ideal sit/method of combining all three.
